Here we go on a journey of a lifetime. Or rather that will define a lifetime.

Carla and I have just recently purchased our first home and moved to Temple, Tx where the grass is green, the air is thick with humidity, and the church is filled with love. We have already started on some projects on the house. We have started painting, put up a fence, changed out light fixtures, and started decorating the master bath. Things could not be better right now. We are still searching for a job for Carla. I have joined a gym and love to go work out. Youth ministry has been great so far even though I still at times feel that I have no idea what I am doing. Already I have met many people in the community that are friendly and that I hope to build relationships with. God has proven to be more faithful than anyone could ever even imagine through this whole process. I cannot brag on God enough right now. I know that I have been through some rough spots in the process but Gos has always been in control and for that I will ever praise Him. Upon arriving at the house after closing Carla and I found that the youth group had already paid a visit to my house to leave what we'll call a house warming gift. We found streamers, signs, a pantry filled with food, and forks in the yard. Yeah that's right I said forks in the Yard. Carla and I spent a little while picking all those forks out of the yard. There will be pay back. There is so much more that I could say about the new path that Carla's and my life is taking but that will have to wait for another time.
